An Adventure with the Black Hole

There was this event called the "online science fiction writing" that happened just before Shaastra-09. I wanted to write a story (it was a long time since i had written a story) and this is the one that i managed. This is the first draft that i wrote and no significant improvement has been made. The same was submitted to the contest as well. So i do agree there will be some flaws. But hopefully its good enough. And as of now, i don't know whether i have won any prize in the contest. The story:
It was the same boring signal again. The red was stagnant, refusing to move. As the seconds trickled past, the boredom increased gradually. It was one of the worst moments of the day. But somehow, the past few weeks have been, kind of, boring. NO SLEEP........
